I like this shop. I’ve met two employees they are both were very friendly and knowledgeable. Been in this business a long time and you usually find a good mechanic that has terrible customer service skills or you find someone that can communicate, but can’t fix an engine. Rarely, do you find both like you have here.

Staff was extremely knowledgeable , very friendly , took the time to explain everything from cost to what services they would perform of your item. Kept us updated on the status of our item. My husband had surgery on his wrist, staff members lifted the lawnmower out of our truck and put it back in for us. All in all 5 star customer service.

I like this place: Great shop, with the son of the founder still running the place (as I learned today when I picked up my old chainsaw). I like good customer service and local businesses. I avoid national chains and "big box" stores for a reason. Good work: This was the second saw that I have had them repair- courteous staff, timely service, excellent work and a great old shop with modern equipment. My Stihl chainsaw needed the oiler repaired, and they got it done quickly. New stuff: They have quite a good display of a lot of new equipment, too. Lots of Stihl power tools, mowers and edgers, etc. Location: It's not that far away- I live near Brackenridge Park and it's about 10-15 minutes or less. Close to Rigsby and 410. A lot closer than a lot of other shops. Fair price for my repairs. My oldest Stihl saw is about 40 years old (!) but now it starts easily and runs great! I am not going to run ethanol in my saws ever again. Use the good fuel, save your fuel system.

I have a skihl 251 chainsaw with the chain that would continue to run while idling. I had taken it 2 different times to another shop and they couldn’t get it running correctly. Frustrated I took it to James Lawnmower and they fixed it CORRECTLY adjusting the idle and adjustments. They’re very courteous professional and Got It Right. Thanks

I had a mower and trimmer that both needed some work. I dropped both off on a Friday and they were both ready the following Monday. Granted, it's January and the off season, but the turnaround was quick. The work performed on both seems high quality and they are both running great. The price also seemed reasonable for what I had done. I would definitely use them again.

I had a great experience with James Lawn Mowing! I broke the brake cable on my push mower and they were able to source the part for me the same day. They even let me pay over the phone in case I couldn’t make it before closing, and offered to leave the part where I could pick it up after hours. Super convenient and helpful! They also have a large selection of parts on hand, which made the process quick and easy. Great customer service and very reliable—I’ll definitely be coming back for future needs.

Front counter was exstermly helpful and on point retrieving inventory while other guy was very helpful on my issue with my zero turn and the problem i was having even went the extra step on giving my extra parts I had a test to see if they were working as supposed to be. I recommend this place to the fullest. There knowlablge of there products take customers concerns as a priority not just trying to shoo you away. It was very close to closing time as well but this didn't effect either.gentelman to they were there to stay extra if they had to they weren't rushing customers out just because it was closing time. Thanks guys P.S . Got the zero turn going guys
